Press & Projects
As part of her ongoing specialist work within the emerging genre of ethical fashion Jocelyn
Whipple has worked on many projects events and consultations over the years and continues
to do so. Here are some recent examples.
NOI Collective London
In 2009 Noi Collective was formed by, Orsola de Castro, Lucy Siegle, Livia Firth and Jocelyn
Whipple. Why? Because people want information and experience, and we have it. With Fifty years
combined experience in the development of environmentalism and social justice in the global
textile industry we are four women who are collectively committed to influence, inform and
progress best practice in the fashion industry. We are always looking for new projects, here
are some examples.
The Green Carpet Challenge The very exciting project hosted by Vogue.co.uk. Livia
Firth has committed to wear ONLY ethical fashion to every major premiere and award ceremony
event she attends with her actor husband Colin. Jocelyn and the Noi Collective are working
closely with her to find the outfits, tell the stories and highlight the issues from ethical
mining to up-cycling.
